Music makes us move. We tap a finger, nod our head, wiggle a little and sometimes combine all to make a dance. But what does music and movement mean for young children? What does it look like? Why is it important?
How, as musicians and child care practitioners, can we encourage this? How do we recognise and support our young children in making music and moving?
The annual LEYMN conference explores these questions through a day of thought-provoking presentations and workshops that share practical skills to put into practice in early years settings.
Networking opportunities will allow practitioners, project managers and musicians to meet and share ideas, challenges and form new collaborations with others.
