LEAN Cultural Connectors’ Summer Event at Catford Broadway Theatre

For teachers and those working in Lewisham's educational settings, join us on 25th June for our summer Cultural Connectors meeting! Here we'll be meeting with Peter Stickney, the director the Lord Chamberlain's Men Theatre Company who will talk about their FREE production of Hamlet, exclusively available to Lewisham schools in September. This production is presented by The Lord Chamberlain's Men in association with Broadway Theatre.

Date: 25/06/2024

Time: 4.30-6.30pm

Location: Catford Broadway Theatre

This will be performed as closely as possible to how it would have been seen in Shakespeare’s time, i.e. with an all-male cast. Teaching resources and a Q&A with the director will be available.

If there are any teachers who would like their Shakespeare questions answered directly by the Company, get in touch to help us produce some accompanying learning resources for the performances.

We’ll also be exploring opportunities available for schools and young people with award-winning theatre company, Nouveau Riche, associate artists at the Broadway Theatre. Nouveau Riche develop new culturally inclusive ways of engaging audiences and artists, by experimenting with fresh, and unconventional methods distinct from traditional Western storytelling.

This will be the last Cultural Connector meeting of the current academic year.
Don’t miss out on this chance to connect and collaborate!
