This twilight session will offer a forum for debate and sharing of approaches to assessment and progression.

Teachers will be invited to explore new assessment and progression models including a framework devised by Dr Alison Daubney (University of Sussex) and Professor Martin Fautley (Birmingham City University).
This is a re-run of the sold out November 2014 event bookings for teachers enrolled on the Teach Through Music programme are prioritised.

We are undergoing a departmental review of levels and assessment in music as a consequence of the seminar.
Were in the process of re-designing Key Stage 3 assessment across the school at the moment, and Ive been acting on the whole-school working party. The Inspire Event gave me a lot of ideas to take forward to our working party meetings, and gave me some good ideas for principles of assessment on which to build our new assessment frameworks.
