A seminar which aims to provide an early opportunity to discuss the content and implementation of the National Plan for Cultural Education.
Date: 07/07/2022 – 07/07/2022
Delegates will consider issues expected to be raised by details in the Plan, including the balance and choice of experiences, as well as the role of external organisations in delivering the Plan and how its overall success should be measured. How the Plan fits with reforms to the National Curriculum and provision for young people with a strong interest in particular areas of cultural education will also be discussed, as will the potential role of a ‘cultural passport’ – providing young people access to and recording their attendance at cultural events and venues.
