On this weekend you will:
- Consider the sociological implications of your teaching choices
- Discuss the health and wellbeing of learners and their differing needs,
both educational and cultural - Explore the Teacher-Pupil relationship and adult learning
- Gain awareness of legislative frameworks and ‘best practice’
This weekend is suitable for
practitioners from any background who facilitate learning by children, young
people or adults. It offers opportunities to share concerns and experiences and
develop practical strategies that will improve the effectiveness of your
teaching for all learners.
Please note that Ethics for the
Teaching Musician is followed by a 3 hour Introduction to Dalcroze Eurythmics
workshop. The Dalcroze session may be booked separately.
This Professional Development Weekend
forms part of the PG Certificate The Teaching Musician but is also open to
other practitioners, not enrolled on the accredited programme.
