Developing your Fundraising Strategy, a Series of Three Sessions

Join LEAN and Fundraising Development Consultant Chloe Booth and learn how to create a fundraising strategy for your organisation or charitable enterprise. A written fundraising strategy can help you take a birds-eye view of your situation, assess which tools can help you, and prioritise your fundraising actions when time and resources are limited. Three Support Sessions - 2 x online and 1 x in person at the Albany. The training will take place across three sessions, attendees must commit to all three.

Location: Online and in person


*Session 1 (online) Tuesday 5th November 10-11.30am: An introduction to the principles of developing a fundraising strategy. You’ll also have the chance to share your main challenges and fears around fundraising and thinking strategically.

A Zoom link will be sent to you beforehand

*Session 2 (in-person) Wednesday 13th November 9.30am-12.30pm: A practical session where you will start mapping out your fundraising strategy, take part in group exercises, and connect with a peer support network.

The Albany – Red Room

Please arrive at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am start.

*Session 3 (online) Wednesday 4th December 10-11.30am: A follow-up session where you will share highlights from your developing fundraising strategy, along with your key learnings and challenges.

A Zoom link will be sent to you beforehand

Limited one-to-one sessions will be available in the weeks following to help you fine tune your finished fundraising strategy.

The second session will be taking place in person at a wheelchair accessible venue. Please let us know if you have other access needs or requirements.

Tea and coffee will be provided at the second session, we look forward to seeing you!
