A workshop and free guided tour of the Souzou collection
Date: 01/12/2024 – 01/12/2024
Time: 13:00
About the event
This 3 hour workshop is one of several from Creative Future in the run up to the Impact Art Fair – the UK’s only art fair which features artwork only by socially excluded* or ‘outsider artists’. See http://www.impact-art-fair.org.uk/ for details.
The workshop looks at the growing body of evidence linking creativity and wellbeing and explores this theme further with some hands on arts and creativity based exercises. Bobby Baker, the artist, will join Charlotte Meddings from Studio Upstairs and Simon Powell from Creative Future to explore this fascinating area. At the end of the workshop 20 participants will be given a free guided tour of the Souzou collection, a fantastic display of Japanese Outsider Art.
