A mini-conference about working creatively with very young children

Celebrate and investigate the contribution arts, culture and creativity can make to under 5s, and their families.

For those from early years and arts and cultural settings, as well as independent practitioners.

The afternoon will include:

*  Keynote presentation ‘Good with the two-year-olds’: quality and pedagogy.
Jan Georgeson, (Research Fellow) and Verity Campbell-Barr, (Lecturer)
Plymouth Institute of Education, share their findings on what it takes
to effectively support two years olds and their families. Plus an
opportunity to join a focus group and contribute to their ongoing
research

Practical workshops, discussion and ideas for supporting creative
development with in early years and arts/cultural settings, with Octopus
Inc, Jerwood and Towner

* Information, ideas and resources, networking and reflection on current practice

This
mini-conference is produced by Culture Shift as part of Open Sesame,
