Lewisham Children and Family Centres is providing a free
conference in an exciting partnership with Lewisham VAWG and Lewisham Children’s Safeguarding Board.
The conference will take place on 15th of May and will be highlight some of the
key issues faced by children and young people in the borough of Lewisham at the
moment,this conference will give multi-agency practitioners working with
vulnerable children and young people key information and tools to help support
them more effectively.
The conference will include a wide range of speakers and also a choice of 3 different workshops.
Choice of three workshops:
- The effects of DVA on children supporting identification
and recovery - The Continuum of Need and Early Help
- The VAWG Strategy in Lewisham and the Athena Service
There will also be a marketplace with stalls from organisations
that offer services and resources to support and safeguard children and young
people in Lewisham, where you can collect information and network.
