Come along and find out about the funding available in The Royal Borough of Greenwich for Arts and Cultural projects, learn what support is available for voluntary organisation/groups in the borough, network with local groups, artists and creative and have your small grant funding questions answered.

The Royal Borough of Greenwichs Arts
and Culture Office will be holding a Meet the Funders event hosted by the Royal
Museums Greenwich at the National Maritime Museum.
The event will provide an excellent
opportunity for groups and organisations to learn more about the Community Art
Fund and Grants for the Arts. We will also be joined by the Arts Council
England, Greenwich Action for Voluntary Services and representatives from the
National Maritime Museum. The event will feature presentations by;
- The Royal Borough of Greenwich Arts and Culture
Office on the Community Art Fund - The Arts Council England on Grants for the Arts,
their open access funding programme. - Greenwich Action for Voluntary Services (GAVS)
providing an overview of their services; ranging from capacity building
support to local voluntary and community organisations as well as support to
the sector. - The National Maritime Museum introducing new
opportunities for local groups and organisations to work in partnership with
the museum on projects and events as part of their new Endeavour galleries
project. - Attendees will also have the
opportunity to tour the National Maritime Museum; view its usable spaces and
the Nelson, Navy, National gallery in the Museum.
The event will begin with lunch and
an opportunity to network between 1 – 2pm.
The presentations will begin at 2pm
followed by networking and tours. An updated agenda will be sent to attendees nearer the time.
