This seminar for colleagues working in museums, galleries, visual arts and heritage venues provides Arts Award adviser training for Arts Award Discover, the introductory award designed for children age 5 plus, and Explore, an Entry Level 3 qualification designed for ages 7 plus.

The training will be enhanced with case studies from educators and artists on delivering all levels of Arts Award at John Hansard Gallery, the University of Cambridge Museums and the London Transport Museum with the West London Museums.
Participants will devise their own activities for Arts Award Discover and Explore responding to The Foundling Museum. Delegates will receive materials on the working with Arts Award Discover and Explore from Trinity College London and Kids in Museums.
Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England and 10 regional Bridge organisations to drive participation. The event has been co-ordinated by the Group for Education in Museums (GEM), engage and Trinity College London.
