This study day is embedded within a wider offer of resources, events and courses for teachers working within SEN settings. Tate is committed to developing opportunities for SEN teachers and their groups to fully and regularly engage with the art on display at both Tate Britain and Tate Modern.
For teachers and staff working with students with special educational needs (SEN), students from Pupil Referral Units (PRU) and students with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Led by artists with experience of working with these groups within the gallery context, the session creatively challenges preconceptions about the nature and potential of engagement in art by young people with special educational needs.

Schools booking two study days will receive a third free place to attend a session for any member of staff.
