Award-winning youth charity Lewisham Music, aims to enable every child and young person in Lewisham to experience the power of music through accessible, inclusive programmes that inspire creativity and confidence. Their music programmes take place throughout Lewisham in schools and community settings.

Programmes and Lessons
Lewisham Music offers Free/Low-cost after-school and weekend programmes/lessons in Singing, Strings, Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, Guitar/Bass, Production, and Rap/Lyricism.
They usually take place at The Novelist Studio (Bellingham, SE6 3BT) or Saturday Music Centre (Lewisham, SE13 7BN).
Projects
Lewisham Music also run various holiday and one-off projects throughout the year, including:
- Fellowship Music Collective
- Lewisham Junior Orchestra
- Animate Orchestra
- Holiday Activity Fund (music & radio sessions for young people receiving free meals)
Bursaries and Support
- London Music Fund: four-year music Scholarships to young people (year 5/6 or going into year 6/7) who have started learning an instrument
- ‘Connect’ Furthering Talent: 2-year paid instrumental music lessons for young people (in years 5 – 6 or years 7-8), with individual learning plan, annual bursary of £50, and termly ‘Get Togethers’
Creative Futures
- A creative careers programme for young adults aged 18 to 30 to kickstart their career in the creative industry.
