About Discover! Creative Careers Month
Discover! Creative Careers Month is a call to arms to employers and individuals across the sector to provide young people aged 11-18 with direct encounters with industry through in-person and online events at workplaces.
Taking part supports schools and colleges to meet several Gatsby benchmarks including:
Benchmark 4: Linking curriculum learning to careers particularly if you enhance your involvement in activities with our suite of creative industry careers lesson plans
Benchmark 5: Encounters with employers and employees Discover! Creative Careers Week offers opportunities to hear directly from professionals working across the creative industries through online and in-person events
Benchmark 6: Experiences of workplaces During the week we encourage employers to open their doors and invite local students for interactive careers activities.
