There’s a Supervolcano about to erupt in
South East London. Life as we know it is under threat.  SMASHfestUK is
back for a third year brimming with science and engineering solutions to our
hottest disaster yet! 

Excited? Then come along to our
SMASHfestUK Volcanic Launch on the 18th January. Witness a taster of explosive
installations, hands on activities and hear more from our diverse range of
contributors.

SMASHfestUK is a free award winning festival for all ages based in Deptford. Taking
over the Deptford Lounge and Albany Theatre this Feb Half Term, we’ve got a
festival crammed with experiments, comedy, variety shows, engineering, and
theatre. Through contemporary arts and design it explores science, technology,
engineering and maths.

Who is this for?

This event is for those who work with children, families and young people, including teachers, youth officers, health workers, community support workers, those working in community and voluntary groups and more. You are welcome to bring young people you work with along.
